Dr. Chuang is Co-Director of Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY. He is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Previously, Dr. Chuang served as the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Westchester Medical Center 1994-2003. He also served as the President of Metropolitan Gynecologic Cancer Society (2006-2007) in New York and is an active member in numerous professional societies and organizations.
He is a recognized expert in robotic and laparoscopic surgeries in the management of both benign and malignant diseases in women. He has published numerous articles and chapters in medical journals and textbooks. Dr Chuang published the first report of fertility sparing robotic radical trachelectomy for women with cervical cancer in 2008. He was recognized as a Best Doctor in New York in 2007.
Dr. Chuang also takes great pride in teaching and performing surgeries for women with gynecologic cancers in New York as well as in South America and Asia.
